A Message from the Supreme

The Grove site may look drastically incomplete at the moment – & that’s because it, well, is. Mind the construction as we Build That Greatness around these parts. 🙂

If the site here ain’t displaying right on your mobile device, select “view desktop page” or equivalent to fix that issue!

Therefore, we humbly ask that you add an exception for our site – – in AdBlock/uBlock Origin or whatever you use. Thanks, and solidarity in Harmony! 🙂

#PC2StormStalkers – North Texas Gets a Beautiful “Heat Break”, Midwest Severe Weather, & More – Liveblog

Praise the Lord, North Texans! Another day of a glorious mix of sun and clouds that’ll keep the temps generally down into the 90s, along with more “pop-up” showers and storms!

The first ones have started to pop in Limestone County & along US-175 between Kaufman & Athens.

Keep in mind, some of the stronger storms that pop will be capable of hail to penny size, & winds to 60+mph. Lightning is a threat to not sleep on any time there’s a storm chance, either. Be ready for one to pop! Main direction will be *generally* East to West.

Nationwide (mostly) –

* There’s up to a Moderate – that’s Level 4 out of 5, y’all! – Risk of severe weather in the Upper Midwest from Northern Minnesota down through the Indiana/Ohio/Michigan tripoint in the Lower Midwest… with a Marginal (L1) chance extending over to the Mid-Atlantic buttressed by a Slight (L2) risk in the DMV & Eastern North Carolina.

The threats are a full smorgasbord: hail, wind, & scattered tornadoes & looks to be a big outbreak brewing – stay weather aware via NOAA All-Hazards Radio, your local TV/radio/net outlets, & of course PC2/GroveNet!

* General “pop-up” storm chances, with a smidgen of a small “summer pulse severe” threat, will be present from #Texas through the Deep South, up the #EastCoast and into Southern #NewEngland, all the way across the Northern Tier into Montana and the Rockies/Intermountain West.

* It’s still gonna be a toasty summer day across the contiguous U.S., but the temps will be chilled out a bit compared to the last few days, especially in the West, where it’s needed.

* Fire weather risks continue in @california, Oregon, Washington, & vicinity though the aforementioned cooldown & storm activity have tamped down the crisis a bit (small consolation to the people already hurt, though…)

* No current tropical cyclone activity in either the Northern Atlantic, Eastern Pacific, or Central Pacific.
